With the success of the movie, "Now That I Have You," teleserye tandem John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo have become bona fide box-office stars.
"Now That I Have You," produced by Star Cinema and directed by Laurenti Dyogi, grossed a cool P8 million when it opened last Wednesday, Aug. 11. The film is on extended run in theaters across the country. Incidentally, Direk Lauren's last work, "All My Life," starring Aga Muhlach and Kristine Hermosa, was also a blockbuster.
"Now That I Have You" is the second Star Cinema movie of John Lloyd and Bea after "My First Romance." "My First Romance," a twinbill, also featured John Prats and Heart Evangelista.
