John Lloyd Cruz, together with Bea Alonzo, will prove with "Now That I Have You," that he already can carry a picture. But he is certainly nervous, he said. After all, the movie is his first big break.
Although John Lloyd and Bea already appeared in a box office hit, "My First Romance," he would not claim sole credit to its success. After all, the movie, which is a twinbill, also starred Heart Evangelista and John Prats who, at that time, were a most popular team.
"Sa totoo lang ayoko ng feeling na parang napi-pressure ako," E, ganyan ang dating sa akin ng mga humuhulang kikita sa takilya ang 'Now That I Have You.'"
But he is excited about the movie. In fact, he can hardly wait to watch it on its premiere tonight at the Cinema 10 of SM Megamall.
"Bea and I, plus our director, Laurenti Dyogi, did our best to make the movie as entertaining as possible. Sana nga magustuhan ito ng manonood," he further stated.

John Lloyd dispelled the report that he plans to win back Kaye Abad, his very first girlfriend in showbiz. He revealed that he does not usually end up as a good friend to his former girlfriends. Even with recent ex, Ciara Sotto, who was his girlfriend for two years. He admitted that he feels a little awkward talking to her now.
Why?
"Ewan," he answered. "Basta ganoon lang ako."
He refused to comment that he is still carrying a torch for Ciara and that this is the reason there is no report that he is courting anyone. Not even Bea.
"Bea and I are friends now. We may not be as close yet pero madalas na kaming mag-usap. Unlike before when we didn't bother to even ask each other's cellphone numbers. Pero ngayon, nag-tsi-tsikahan na kami on the cellphone paminsan minsan," John Lloyd related with a smile.
