Trend-setting fashion retailer Karimadon proudly announces the selection of Ms. Bea Alonzo, star of ABS-CBN's top-rating teleserye It Might Be You, the hit film My First Romance and the soon-to-released film Now That I Have You, as its image model/endorser.
"We chose Bea because of her very fine qualities. She's young. She's fresh and she's very beautiful. She's a fast rising star and she has what it takes to be the next big and important star of today's generation," says Mrs. Josie Go, owner of Karimadon.
"Above all," Mrs. Go emphasizes, "we've worked closely with Bea for pictorials and events she's such a sweet girl. She's always on time and she's very professional. Bea is truly a role model for the youth."
The selection of Bea coincides with the launch of the new look and image of Karimadon. Stores in Metro Manila have recently undergone renovations to make the interiors brighter, more relaxed, and airier so that clients can feel truly at home. They also have a new hip logo and signage: a trendier and classier printed font in the lower case letters that replaces the previous script font design.
This July, Karimadon unveils its first giant billboard on EDSA featuring Bea in a very "sexy but very classy pose and style."
In the past Karimadon has dressed up a lot of female celebrities. Lani Mercado, Glydel Mercado, Alice Dixson, Rita Avila, Snooky Serna, Carmina Villaroel, Aiko Melendez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Nancy Castiglone, Angelika De La Cruz, and Donita Rose, amon many others, are all Karimadon ladies; at a particular point in their careers, they donned the clothes of Karimadon. Donita Rose was the first celebrity image model of the clothing line.
From the modest space in Virra Mall in Greenhills, they have grown to 12 stores. The first franchise store store opened in SM Marilao last June 27, with Bea Alonzo as special guest. Karimadon will open its 13th store in SM City Pampanga this August. The store offers very affordable, stylish and classy casual and evening wear for women in their teens to their 30s. There's always something new in Karimadon's stores as new selections are put on the racks every two weeks.
"We're so proud to be part of dressing the Filipina for almost 25 years now," Mrs. Josie Go, says smiling. "We intend to make the Filipina even more beautiful and stylish for many, many, many years to come."
